On October 21, 2021, NAA’s representatives took part in the General Assembly of the European Association for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (ENQA)

NAA participated in ENQA General Assembly

On October 21, 2021, ENQA General Assembly took place in online form. NAA’s Director and leading specialists took part in the event.

During the event, nominations to the ENQA Board were held. Mr. Oystein Lund (Deputy Director General, NOKUT, Norway) was elected as a new vice-president of the Association. The General Assembly participants approved the report on ENQA activities for 2020-2021 and a work plan for 2022 presented by ENQA’s Secretariat.

The next General Assembly of the Association will take place in Cardiff, Wales, UK on April 27-29, 2022.

For reference: The European Association for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (ENQA) was established with the aim of promoting and strengthening the quality of higher education in the countries of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) within the framework of the Bologna Process.

In March, 2021, the Board of the European Association for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (ENQA) made a decision to reconfirm National Accreditation Agency (NAA) as a member of ENQA for five years. NAA is considered to be in compliance with the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG, 2015) and is admitted/reconfirmed as a member of ENQA.
