On October 20-21, the 7th ENQA General Assembly took place in Gloucester, United Kingdom

On October 20-21, the 7th ENQA General Assembly took place in Gloucester, United Kingdom. It was attended by representatives of all European national accreditation agencies - ENQA members that promote ESG 2015. The NAA Head Lemka Izmaylova participated in the discussion of the ENQA growth areas, election of the ENQA Vice-Presidents and Board.

At the beginning of the ENQA General Assembly, Dr. Zita Mohd Fahmi spoke about the development of ASEAN Quality Assurance Qualification Frameworks and gave the examples of cooperation between countries with different levels of social and economic development.

Then the representatives of expert panels who took part in recent ENQA external reviews shared their experience, told about the lessons learnt and gave recommendations on the improvement of external review procedures and writing of impartial reports.

The second part of the GA included the Secretariat’s presentation of the Annual Report 2016, election of the ENQA Vice Presidents and Board.

At the event, the ENQA members had the opportunity to make poster presentations about their topical issues and challenges and to share their good practice in quality assurance.

Within the framework of the GA, the NAA representatives had some meetings and consultations with colleagues from CIS and Europe and discussed challenges that the expert organizations community faces. They spoke about the exchange of experts and their participation in external reviews, as well as holding co-operative activities and sharing information for publications.
