28-29 November 2017 «State accreditation of educational activities. System approach to the internal quality assessment of students’ training»

National Accreditation Agency organized a seminar hosted by the Vladimir State University.

The event was attended by more than 70 representatives from HEIs and scientific organizations of all Russian Federal Districts.

The Rector of the University Anzor M. Saralidzhe addressed the participants with a welcoming speech followed by a video presentation of educational, scientific research and innovative activities of the educational organization as a Basic university.

The first day was devoted to the issues of internal quality assessment of students’ training against the updated Federal State Educational Standards.

 

 

Describing the requirements for internal quality assessment, Sergey Pilipenko, representative of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, drew attention to the fact that "the quality of measuring materials should be the subject of external review".

Lemka S. Izmaylova, Head of NAA, presented a report on the topic "Quality assurance in the state accreditation system".

"The improvement of the information system of state accreditation for educational activities will be carried out on the basis of applying the technology of external review in electronic format with the use of Internet resources," said Lemka S. Izmaylova.

Ruben Topchyan, Director of the Armenian National Center for Professional Education Quality (ANQA) paid attention to the topic of international accreditation. Sergei Myasoyedov, Vice-Rector of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration; Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Accreditation Council of Business and Management Education (NACBE), spoke about the "Triple Crown" accreditation and the AACSB accreditation as the highest quality mark for management programs of further vocational education internationally.

Furthermore, the representatives of NAA and seminar participants met to discuss the main stages of modeling the internal quality assessment of students’ training on the basic study program. The best practices of internal quality assessment were presented by the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Sechenov University); Rostov State Medical University of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation; Moscow City University (MCU) and Vladimir State University.

The topic "Modeling the internal quality assessment of students’ training on the basic study program" was presented to the participants in the framework of the business simulation on the second day of the seminar.
