NAA’s representatives held a training seminar for MGIMO employees devoted to state regulation of educational activities in the framework of the further training program

Improving the work of an educational organization, obtaining up-to-date information on new changes in the state regulation of educational activities from official sources is the key to successful licensing, accreditation, control and supervisory activities.

MGIMO University periodically invites NAA to conduct training events for its employees in order to highlight current changes in the legislation in the field of education.

May 30 - June 1, 2022, a training seminar on state regulation of educational activities was conducted for MGIMO University as part of the further training program. Artem Malgin, MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for Development, Head of the MGIMO Rector Office, opened the seminar. Welcoming the participants, Mr Malgin noted the importance and relevance of such events for improving an educational organization’s work. He also thanked NAA’s representatives for organizing training.

Aleksey Yemelyanov, NAA’s Deputy Director, made a presentation on changes in the legal support of state regulation of educational activities.

Tatyana Bibik, NAA’s Deputy Director, spoke in details about the use of accreditation indicators in state accreditation, control and supervision activities as well as accreditation monitoring. Particular attention was paid to innovations in external review, its timing, requirements for expert team activities, and internal system for assessing the education quality.

The seminar was continued by Mikhail Petropavlovsky, NAA’s Deputy Director - Branch Director. He focused on the main requirements for an educational organization’s website, especially the requirements for the structure and form of posting information.

Practical recommendations were also given for working with the personal account of the organization in the system of IS SA and IS LOD.

The first day ended with the answers to participants’ questions.
